- Definitive Healthcare, the leader in providing data analytics and business intelligence to the healthcare market, has acquired the data services business and assets of HIMSS Analytics.
“HIMSS Analytics has developed an extraordinarily powerful dataset including technology install data and purchasing contracts among other leading intelligence that, when combined with Definitive Healthcare’s proprietary healthcare provider data, will create a truly best-in-class solution for our client base,” said Jason Krantz, Founder and CEO of Definitive Healthcare, in a press release.
The deal will further enhance Definitive Healthcare’s market intelligence capabilities, and will create a single source of truth for users looking to better understand their strategic business opportunities.

The newly integrated offering will include improved coverage of health IT purchasing intelligence and access to robust historical data on proposals and executed contracts. The data will enable transparent, informed decision-making across the care continuum.
